Thanks man. I gave her all rolls that looked like they had potential. She pulled a buff and war nickel which was nice to motivate her!

I went through 115 CWR quarter rolls and I had some good finds. I found a 1942 silver quarter (which is now my oldest quarter found in circulation) and a cool 1979 50 centavos coin from Mexico. I also found two uncirculated quarters from 1968D and 1990D. Finding any uncirculated clad quarter from the 1960s is a rare find so along with the silver quarter I feel that I did quite well today with these rolls. img025.jpg img026.jpg

I am jealous. Nice finds! I have yet to find a silver quarter but I have only searched about $700 worth.

$25 CWR 14 wheat, oldest was a '38-P. Also two "2 euro" cents. I lost count for total keepers.

And with the rolls I finished with this box, I finished my 16th box of copper. Almost every roll of copper I wrap up has more than 50 cents in it, so that's at least 40,000 copper cents or roughly 275 pounds of copper. I still don't know exactly what to do with it all.

Thanks. I have found three this year. Prior to finding these three, I had never found a silver quarter from a roll. I went through over 6,000 quarters looking for one back in 2007. I was pretty demoralized not to find any back then but I am happy that they have turned up this year.

I went through 74 CWR dime rolls and I had some more good finds. They include five silver dimes, a 1987 ten cent coin from Singapore and uncirculated dimes from 1980D, 1985D and 1987D.

    Dates for the silver dimes:
    1947
    1959D
    1963D
    1964Dx2

Interestingly, the two 1964D dimes were found in the same roll.

Oh, and I found seventeen extra dimes from the rolls being overfilled which made all of the above coins free!

Did $200 in dollar coins today, trying to finish up my SBA and Presidential Dollars. I got a 1981 "S" SBA and a 2008 "D" NIFC Sac. I just want those last few so I can stop doing dollar coins and turn that focus more onto dimes and nickels.

    2nd time ever CRH. Bank only had two CWR's of halves today. First roll was a skunk. 2nd roll had 6 40%'rs. (1) 1965, (1) 1966, (3) 1968-d, (1) 1969-d.

I was excited since my chances were slim with only two rolls today. Maybe its beginners luck. I've only searched 6 total rolls so far and pulled 7 40%'rs. I'm addicted now

Just went through $19 of CWR nickels that was a Christmas gift my grandparents-in-law. Silver! 45-P, four other 40's and three 50's.

Helluva time getting nickels today to give me that fix in for the holidays. I smoothly dumped a little today, but going to a new pick-up bank gave me a box of 2012's. Dumped them immediately, but waited in a long line. Then finally picked up a box (pullin' teeth from a baby). Tried my luck again at a different bank who again gave another full box of 2012's, but able to exchange them at a different bank, which a teller there mentioned she sold another teller about 2 rolls worth of really old nickels. The teller she sold them to will be in on Wednesday. I am planning on going in there to see if they are still there...keeping my fingers crossed!
