I would never split a box with a teller like that. Next thing ya know, boxes with enders will be disappearing from your orders.

    Did 14 boxes Fri/Sat. 1 '64, 11 40%.

I completely understand your position. I thought a great deal about this and opted to go the route I did for a few reasons.

    1) At this point, my bank roll doesn't support the purchase of a full box so I have to buy rolls from an open box. This same associate has handed me two rolls with obvious enders without blinking (and he saw them too!). He is also the only person in town that I've found who orders boxes of halves just to have on-hand for people like me.

    2) If I do opt to cycle through more volume (14 boxes is IMPRESSIVE!), I will have a hard time dumping (I'm already running into difficulties with less than 1 box at a time!). This associate is willing to give me bags for dump coins to be shipped to the main branch for rolling at no charge.

So, a calculated "risk" and really I'm somewhat excited to "share the wealth" given that I've been quite fortunate (I estimate a melt value of >$150, from this box alone!) and I'd like to have more of these experiences without a lot of headaches (e.g., dump site worries!). Perhaps a bit more "expensive" than a box of donuts or pizza for the tellers but hopefully it'll lead to greater mutual benefit. I guess we'll see .

2 boxes of dimes, 1 roosie

On the other hand, did a box of halves & got 1 '64 & 8x 40%, so that may be picking up. We will see.

I took about $20 of quarters out of the lucky wishing fountain at the park :D They're pretty ugly, but worth 25 cents each nonetheless!

...just kidding, I would never do that. I just found them in a bag of quarters from the coin counter, which didn't have any silver of course, stupid quarters :(

Today's results, coins obtained yesterday, not searched until today:

    $5 Pennies: 98 Copper, 1944P, 2 Canadian.

    $20 Nickles: 1940P, 1946D, 1949P, 1956D, 2 X 1958D

    $20 Dimes:Skunk.

$380 Quarters: 1 Panama coin. One roll in plastic had all Hawaii ATB in it. Except one which was not brand spanking new. I carefully removed enough to check, just out of curiosity, as it was obviously not silver. Just an older quarter. Someone evidently finally got their Hawaii hole filler, took it out, replaced it.

    $13 Not-Ike dollars: Skunk.

Perhaps but I've found circulated coins in sealed OBW paper rolls that were crimped on both ends. Sometimes used coins get mixed with new coins when they get rolled. This happens because the Mint doesn't roll coins which are intended for circulation. The coins get shipped in huge bags to third-party processing centers who then empty them into hoppers to be rolled. This is where used coins can get mixed in with new and the next thing you know used coins are turning up in OBW rolls. I don't like it when I get rolls like that but it happens.

I don't believe they're shipped in bags any longer (Giant metal containers now) but otherwise, spot on.

Dropped off a box of halves at my fav WF branch, boy are they slow at everything. Teller was nice though.
Picked up a box of dimes and it's loaded with 2012 P's but it does have at least one silver in there. I'll report later when I get a chance to open it up.
