Those are like my numbers. You were pulling some serious silver there for the last month. Hit up the CWR I was expecting to find something this weekend but nothing in the trays or CWR.

I told the bank I went to get halves from today to order me 4 boxes, they only ordered me 1. Whatever, it was a great box... 21 40%, 2 '64, a '53-D, and a 1911 Barber. My first Barber from a box.

1964-D 1C (very few scratches other than that beautiful condition; grainy pic - sorry!)

If they gave you a box like that every time, they could forget the other 3 anytime. Definitely makes up for your previous 14 boxes. I got 3 coming on Wednesday...give me some of that luck of yours :p

It was mostly bunched up in one end of the box. Makes me wonder what I missed in the surrounding boxes.

Oh, 4 40% enders in that box too, I'll post a pic eventually lol.

    Pennies:
    Box #1 - 7 Wheaties
    Box #2 - and another 7 Wheaties

After seeing Fade's Sweet collection of silver, I have been having a silver itch...opened up a new account with Chase and got some coins while I was there. So far the dimes were nice to me...post results once I can take a pic tonight. Can't wait for my halves to come in and going to order more today.

I was posting on the cent searchers but that seems to have died. Also, I have branched out so I figured I would post here:
These are my results for the last two weeks:

Cents: 2 boxes; 21 wheat, 9 can, 34 "09", one 2000 WAM, one clipped planchet and 1286 copper
    Nickels: 2 boxes; 84 pre-60, 2 war nickels, 1 bermuda nickel
    Dimes: $170 searched; 2 roosies
Quarters: $330 searched; 1 clipped planchet 99 CT, a bunch of ATB's but not the ones I need to get my book up-to-date
Halves: $36.50 CWR and teller trays; one 40%er. Would have had a Walking Liberty. The other teller gave her halves to the teller I was at and in them was the Walker. The other teller pulled it out and stuffed it under her keyboard and gave me the rest. I asked if I could have that as well. She told me "It's old and worn. You don't want it." I politely assured her that I did and she became very rude and defensive and told me I couldn't have it. Very odd and it really irked me. That's the first time I've had a teller act like that.

On a side note: I'm addicted to halves. I'm going to order my first box this Thursday. We'll see how that turns out next week...

Furry, go complain to a manager there... Tellers are there to serve you and your interests, not their own. Every teller that has pulled silver out from under my nose has regretted it and later apologized to me.

That's what my wife said. I was on my lunch break and in a bit of a rush. Not to mention I'm not at all good and being confrontational so I just let it go. It still gets me mad even a week later though. ARRRGGGG.
I just couldn't believe she did it right under my nose. I'm cool if you are a teller and you pull stuff as you see it and cash it out later. That's a perk of the job as far as I'm concerned. But to do it right in front of a customer. Not cool.

Yeah, I don't mind them putting it aside but pulling from under my nose? Not happening.

This is a hobby which requires a certain degree of confrontation to deal with tellers like that... Not gonna lie, if you aren't comfortable doing it, you're gonna see tellers do that with some frequency. Most of the cherrypicking tellers I know now do their cherrypicking in the mornings before I come in instead of right in front of me because they know I will create some issues for them for breaking policies and being rude.

I wasn't good at being confrontational, then I became a CRH'er... takes practice.

I'm sure I'll get better as time goes on. I'm getting more curmudgeonly and bitter as the days go by. I long for the day when I can sit on my porch and spray the neighbor kids with my hose and yell "GET OFF MY LAWN!" or in this case it would be "GET OFF MY WALKER!"...sounds strange :)

Interesting day today. First the usual - 2 boxes of dimes gave up 3 roosies.

I found an old frame in my work storage room - framed coins. I asked my boss if they wanted to get rid of it and she said I could have it, that a customer had given it to someone but had since died so they didn't need to display it anymore. I jumped on the opportunity to pull these:

    1915 Cuban 10 Centavos - .0723 ASW
    IMG_3064.jpg

    1962 Austrian 5 Schilling - .107 ASW
    IMG_3065.jpg

1967 Canadian Quarter - .0937 or .15 ASW depending on composition
    IMG_3066.jpg

    1965 Canadian Dollar - .6 ASW
    IMG_3067.jpg

And the coolest of the group, 1868 French 5 Franc - .7234 ASW
    IMG_3068.jpg

If I got anything wrong above, let me know. All the information is from google searches.

Cool coins, I found a 1915 cuban dime in one of my boxes a while back, they're quite cool looking.
