What used to be my best P/U bank has not ordered me halves in weeks. WTF is going on. I keep calling and they keep telling me they will order and call me when they come in. Hate to do it, but I'm going to have to start dumping halves there.

Gotta do what you gotta do. Once I get my bankroll to $10k, I'm gonna start dumping bags on this WF that just called me back and told me that due to high coin volume from business accounts, they cannot accommodate me. I'd do it sooner, but I really don't want to wait 7 days for my money all the time... maybe I'll try one bag to start...

Used to dump in bags at BoA, only took 2-3 days to get credit, with the switch to Garda takes about a month now. I bring them in rolled loosely in the original wrapper (pluck out the ends and roll back up like a j0int) in the original box and they give me immediate credit or cash.
I used to rewrap in a CWR but I asked if it was easier this way they just unroll them quick into a bag and they wait the 30 days to get their credit, it's working great but my volume is down because of this other branch not ordering for me anylonger.

I'm dumping a box of halves on Saturday morning at the WF that won't order coin for me any longer. Then they called me to open a new checking account, what fools. I told them to look into the issue (no coin) and call me back, of course I never heard from them. I'm dumping $1k there a week until they close my account. Maybe they will never close it, who knows.

Nice! Looks like a great strike through... probably worth some good money, I'm no expert but if I were to throw a guess out, I'd say $50 at least. Is the year visible?

I did manage to grab two loomis boxes of halves, next weeks orders, actually, but grabbed them anyway. First had 2 40%ers, one of which was an ender, and the second had a '64 and a 40%, the '64 was an ender.

Here's the wild mercs from yesterday's pull. I'm in love with my "crater" merc since I really had to hold it at an angle in outside daylight to figure out what it was.

a beat up '43 and a mystery merc from the '20s. Can anyone figure out that last digit?

I looked at it from every angle in my glass and it seems like a 1990 D to me. I'm taking it to my coin guy tomorrow that really focuses on the error area to see what's what. I'm very excited about it!

Very nice finds, Darchangel! I'd say that Merc is a 1928 or 1929. The zero on a 1940 I have is almost completely round, so I don't think it's a 1920.

And regarding Wells Fargo, the local branches really started cracking down on coin orders a couple months ago. And my buddy had trouble with the count both times we dumped halves with them in a bag. For us, they're now strictly "on hand" pickups only.

    Today's results:

    $5 Pennies: 75 copper, 1945D, 1952D, 1957D, 1958D.

    $14 Nickels: 1938P, 1947S, 1951P.

    $15 dImes: Skunk.

$200 Quarters: ATB Hawaii P hole filler. Now I only need the Maine P. I have not seen any of the Alaska ones yet. And the Oklahoma seems to be the most common.

Last couple of days about $40 in loose halves... nothing. One had a silver painted rim that faked me out for a moment.

    $80 CWR Halves: SKUNK

Box of Nickels: 5 Canadians and 34 pre-1960. No Wars.
I did pull a 1975 1 Franc coin though. It was weird to see ridges on the edge of a coin in a nickel roll. Got me excited at first! :)
