    3 Frankies Travis...

What about my question on the proofs.... Is there any premium on those once they are circulated? It wouldn't seem so, but I'm just wondering. Look how that one Frankie stands out from the other two.....very cool.

A slight premium, it depends on the amount of damage.

Not much of a premium, you don't see too many PF45 in the market place.. LOL
But you could sell it, but you might get around what you get on the other two if you decide to sell

How often do you guys go to turn your coins back in?

Well, the object or art of it, is to have it so you don't have any money actually lost, and... To give the banks time to move around their money.
You go to one bank, purchase the coins, then you go to another and turn the coins in.
    And the you alternate.
Maybe one week you don't get any coins, and you go to the bank where you might have returned some of yours, and hope to get a different box :D
It all depends on how often you are able to turn the coins back in... You certainly don't want to do it everyday, but if you can, that is great.
Most of us do it in larger increments, like every week or so

I turn my coins in after every box ($500) I'm now using 3 different dump banks, using a different one each week. I'm going thru 3 - 4 boxes a week.

2nd box in a row with nothing to show for it. Not one keeper.....I think I'm getting Hal's old boxes, lol.......I'll still be buying later in the week....

I turn all of my coins into my credit union who has a free coin counter for $200 a day. Of course, today I figured out to take my kids who all have accounts so I turned in $800 today and hopefully make a run tomorrow. I have too many coins outstanding....

    Bought 40$ in halves, got one 40% 1968 D, and 8 fillers for my book, with a AU 1992 P and a 2000P.

They have another 70$ in rolls, I need to stop back later

After looking through another 7 rolls of 140 halves, I found a 1962 D Franklin half, my first one :thumb:

other than that, just 3 more fillers

Has anyone had success searching dimes? Are mercs still found often?

I've never found a merc. though I don't buy boxes of dimes, I do get a few rolls every week...

Man, I had that great box of halfs, but since then, I've gone through two boxes....$1000 without a single keeper. I'd be interested to see if anyone else found any silver searching rolls of dimes...

I find about the same amount of mercs as silver rosies. Maybe about 2 per box if you're lucky otherwise just expect 1.
