I forgot about that, I'm going to have to load up early in the week. forget about getting coin on Friday after T-day those banks are going to be packed with people trying to withdrawl money to buy X-mas presents. People will be cashing in silver for sure these next couple weeks. Time for a nice CWR score!

I find most old ladies do their shopping earlier. Ya never know though, there's always those last-minute type of people and I don't think age changes procrastinators, lol. Gonna have to go real hard the next month or so... Might not switch to nights until after next week, the evening manager is dragging her feet getting back to me.

Went in to cash my check on lunch break. Got that done and my girl Robin asks if I want the halves they just got in. I say sure how much. $18.50 worth, 1 roll and $8.50 loose. There was nothing in the loose but the roll contained a 1969. My first CWR score in a long time. Not only can I never find CWR when I do they are really re-wrapped BWR's.

I also ordered a box of halves and two boxes of dimes while I was there. They get coin from BoA and the last time they asked for halves they were told they were out of stock? Anyway I'm placing orders all over town and if 50% of them come in I'll be happy. If they all come in great, I'll hopefully get boatloads of silver!

Good luck buddy, I hope they all come in. I'm grabbing 8 boxes tonight.

Switching to night got postponed a week since evening management doesn't have their crap together and couldn't address all of my questions before the 1pm deadline today, lol. Ugh, frustrating. So it looks like 12/3 will be my first night shift.

Thanks for the help with the 70-S lincolns. Now that I know what I'm looking for, I'll go back and double check my other 70-S's. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky.:)

    $40 in nickels: skunk

$460 BWR and $40 CWR quarters: Nothing

Need to get my act together and go carpet bomb an area. Haven't done that in forever. Monday after Thanksgiving, maybe...

    Today's results:

    $150 Quarters: El skunko.

$17 Dollars: Garfield P hole filler. Still need the Heathcliff and Marmaduke ones, ha ha.

I have noticed something about the dollar coins with the edge lettering. Hold the coin so you can read the edge, sometimes the obverse is up, sometimes the reverse. Guess that give obssesive people like me an extra coin for each to get.

    $20 CWR nickels - 38, 52-S, 50, 43-P, and a 79 canadian (I keep the 99.9% nickel ones). Not bad for the low volume.

That 43 puts me at 31 war nickels for the year, and I only do about $30-40 worth a week on average.

Bonus - I found a shop that pays $1.50 each for war nickels. Time to cash out and reinvest into the collection.

Strange nickel day! Three boxes yielded very little...many rolls had already been searched as many nickels had a black magic marker X on them! But I did find a very worn 1920 Buffalo, a somewhat better 1935 buffalo, and a 1943-P War nick.

    In a coin machine I found 1962, 1964 and 1949 Canadian nickels and a 43-D steel cent.

Not from a roll, but I work at a casino. One of the cage girls set aside a 1927 P SLQ for me that came out of a roll in the cage. Date is still readable, I'd say in VG condition. I gave her a quarter for it. Heck ya can't beat getting an SLQ for a quarter!
