Month to date $7750 searched for just a hare over 2 ozs troy found. Not spectacular, I hope I can improve the ratio to finish out the month so it's not as pathetic.

1921 is a very good year for those correct? And to find it in a penny roll, sweet.

Yes. IIRC, 1921 is a key date for Mercs, just like with Peace Dollars and Walking Liberty halves.

Box of dimes, solid 2012. Traded them in at another small branch for some BWR and came up with 3 roosies! Nice!

The branch also has about $250 in loose half dollars that I plan to pick up later in the week.

For you edge searchers out there, watch out for something like these:
    IMAG0018.jpg
    IMAG0019.jpg
Lousy cell phone pick, but you can see the edges. They look copper. I assume they were worn down somehow, showing the core. Probably the only reason they were still there for me to find. Just thought it was interesting.

    Interesting Find

Picked up 2 boxes of dimes on lunch break.

Box 1 - I was able to go through $175 worth and found these....

    Roosie & Queen.jpg

I'm looking for ideas on what this is. It's thin and has a nice ring to it when I was clanking it against the silver Roosie. It says "Queen Elizabeth the Second" on the front and same thing on the back. It's one of the more intersting things I've found in a dime roll while searching. I'm up for hearing what you guys think it might be, looks like it's got some age to it.

I'm pretty sure that's just a fantasy piece from a charm bracelet or something like that. But hopefully somebody proves me wrong.
