    Today's results:

$5 Pennies: 193 copper, 2 Canadian, a dime that was fairly dark. As for the pennies, rolls were marked 1980D, and another marked 1981D S. No S pennies in that one.

    $16 Nickles: 1940P, 1958P, 3 extra.

    $20 Dimes: 2 Extra.

$280 Quarters: Louisiana State S Copperclad proof. The teller was giving me mostly those plastic wrapped rolls. They are not as easy to open without ruining them, not easy to get all the coins back in. I sell the rolls to some store cashiers I know. I was tempted to ask for paper wrapped ones, but who knows what the Coin Gods are planning, I just stick with whichever rolls I get. The proof was in one of those.

$500 bag of dimes, skunk. The bags from this branch have skunked me 5 of the last 7 times, with the non-skunks giving up a single roosie each. I keep on waiting for the (hopefully) inevitable collection dump!

You think the machines might be rejecting the majority of the silver and that is why you are getting such poor bags? $3500 for only 2 Roosies is very bad.

Yes, it is very bad. No, the machine doesn't reject silver. In fact, it doesn't reject much of anything - I've gotten buttons, phone SIM cards, plastic "COPY" coins, golf ball markers, foreign including canadian and other magnetic coins, as well as silver roosies, a merc, and silver canadians. This particular branch just happens to be more of a business branch than consumer branch, and I think that has an effect. I have no other pickups on Thursday so I might as well continue picking up this bag. My best bag from this branch was six roosies, which is about twice my average for boxes.

Got another box of halves today and picked up a '46 Walking Liberty and
The 1946 half has an obverse S mint mark by the rim and to the left of the words 'HALF DOLLAR'. I didn't see any DDR.

How many enders? I hope I can get a fraction of that this weekend. These last 8 boxes will make it 40 boxes total for the month.
