    $90 in CWR Halves yesterday:
    2 Walkers, 2 1964, 5 40%ers - my first walkers from roll searching. Finally.
    1 Box Dimes - 1 1964 D.
About 2.25 oz. for the day. That's a good day for me.
    The halves:

Wait let me understand this... you go to banks, buy rolls of coins, and find collectable coins in them? How often do you find something good? How much money do you guys make a year doing this?

Yep, we go to banks and buy boxes of coin, rolls, and loose coin in teller trays. Mainly look for silver, errors, and varieties or anything that we find interesting. Finding something varies. Sometimes you find something and sometimes you don't. For alot of us here, me included, it's not about the money. It's about the hunt and the enjoyment of the hobby. I'm saving the stuff I find for my daughter. She can do what she wants with them.

Went through another box of nickels between last night and this morning. Best box I've had to date. 5 wars, a '36 buff, and an AU '39 (not the enhanced steps I don't think)

So what do ya do? Just walk in and ask for rolls or what? What denomination is best? Also, I see some of you guys talking about boxes, do you have them ordered in advance or do you just walk in and they give them to you?

    Read the FAQ:

Then we will try to help with questions in that thread.

depends what you're looking for,if it's silver halves, dimes and nickels are what you'll want to search quarters are nearly pointless.Sometimes banks will have boxes to sell but most of the time you will have to order them, and if you don't have an account at that bank they'll be reluctant to sell you rolls let alone boxes.
