Man, I am on a roll with coins from the 1800s lately. Just found my first V-Nick of the year, a shiny but worn 1899.

    Box of halves: 5 64's, 4 40%ers
$20 CWR Ikes: Nothing terribly interesting. One has a tiny clip at about 4 o'clock. It barely goes past the rim, but the radius looks about the size of an Ike. I'll put some pictures up later. Honestly I'm more excited that I was able to score a decent amount of large dollar wrappers!
    Box of halves: One 40%er

Also I finished up that box of pennies that I got yesterday: 493 coppers and about 10 wheats. I thought it would last a little longer...

Nice finds Intrepid. I was going to post that Always a Lady and I had reached a milestone but it pales in comparison. We did 4 boxes of halves yesterday.

    1 - 1 64 and 5 40%
    2 - skunk
    3 - skunk
    4 - 3 40%

In three months since we switched to halves primarily we reached 1000 dollars worth of silver. Of course silver is down this morning so I will need to find a few more to move back above the milestone. Good luck to everyone. Think about it, just in 1964 Kennedy's there are about what 600,000,000 halves. Where are they all? Intrepid sure put a dent in the missing ones yesterday. Congrats!!! :thumb:

Thanks for the kind words UNC. I was so jacked up that I went through most of the box in the bank parking lot and the parking lot at the University. I went through it again this morning and found 1/40%, an 1987D, and a 1973 S proof. I am getting 2 more tomorrow. I don't expect the 90% run to continue, but it has been exciting the last few times.

Was going to search this morning, but my car broke down. It destroyed the serpentine belt and I had to get it towed like 40 miles.
Nice way to start the morning, thankfully I used my father inlaws Triple A and should not have to pay for the towing portion.

I was planning on having a big day today and picking up tons of coin. Now I got to get the car fixed and I'm stuck at work until it's done being fixed. Maybe the silver gods are looking down on me and realizing I'm having a rough week and will hook me up with some killer half boxes tomorrow.

I picked up two rolls of halves from my bank today,it's a very rare occurrence that they have them at all so i'm assuming someone had brought them in today...anyways I found my first silver half,A 1964 90%.That's enough to make my day.

No wonder this thread is 1400 pages... triple posts.
    Just kidding!
I have 2 boxes of nickels and a box of halves waiting for me, but I overslept and had to go straight into work, had no time to hit the banks beforehand. Bummed me out. Going to be a boring night with no searching. Guess I can just hang out with my wife or something, instead.

Went to pick up some of my usual change orders, I had expected to pick up a box of halves at one of my regular pickup banks and they actually ordered me 2 boxes instead of 1, so now I have 5 boxes this week instead of 4. They even said they already ordered me a box for next week, because they figured I might want them! This bank has been really great to me lately so I think I'll have to bring by a gift of some sort.

Also picked up 2 boxes of dimes and a box of nickels today, so hopefully I get some nice CRH time tonight!
