    Weekly results:

    Quarters (58 rolls): Wash x1
Dimes (131 rolls and 4 boxes): Roosie x18, Merc x2, and an 1875 Seated Liberty
Nickels (99 rolls and 2 boxes): War x5, Buff x3, and a 1938S for my album
Pennies (70 rolls): Wheat x17 including a nice MS RD 1944
    Halves ($44 loose): Skunk
And 22 Ikes, with no rare die varieties

I would normally be upset that my banks forgot to order halves for me, but I've had incredible luck this week with dimes (including a merc ender) and the Seated Liberty was the icing on the cake. I also had a Buff ender, the shiny red 1944 wheat cent I mentioned above, a dryer/pocket nickel that was almost smooth but only on one side, and a ton of foreign. All in all, I'm pretty pleased. Total silver found this week: 1.9806 ozt. June is off to a great start!

    Foreign this week: 16c Canada, 3c Bahamas, 2c Fiji, 1d Greece, 1fr France, $1 UAE, 10K Sweeden, 5c Bermuda, 5p UK, 10p Dominican Republic, 10c Panama, 5c Ecuador, 1c Trinidad, 1c Barbados, and 25c Aruba

3 Years of Roll Searching Top Ten

Well, I am two weeks short of 3 years of searching. Year one was decent, year two was amazing, and year three has tailed off so I don't spend much time anymore outside of my town and my tellers. Anyway, I thought it would be kind of fun to look at my top ten finds so I compiled them. I have some other cool finds but for value, these are probably the top ten, I included year of find:

    Cut line was $625+
10 2011 - Spent $325 got over 900 coins in a 5 inch binder buried in a storage locker. Value of coins over $950.
    9 2011 - $200 in CWR yielded 10 Walkers, 5 Franklins, 11 64's, 86 40%.
    8 2010 - $180 in CWR yielded 7 64's, 1 70D, 142 40%.
    7 2010 - $80 in CWR yielded 160 40%.
    6 2010 - $250 in CWR yielded 20 Franklins, 19 64's, 69 40%.
    5 2011 - $190 in CWR yielded 9 Franklins, 52 64's, 26 40%.

Top 4 all have value over $1100...

4 2011 - 2 Boxes same bank same day when out of town for kid's soccer tournament:
    Box 1: 5 Franklins, 9 64's, 81 40%
    Box 2: 2 Walkers, 5 Franklins, 38 64's, 1 1976S silver, 42 40%.
    Total: 59 90%'ers, 124 40%'ers in the tow boxes.
3 2011 - Only Bag ever purchased when the bag filled on my dump and she pulled it out so I saw a bunch of Franklins s and bought it after talking to several managers yielded 1 Walker, 85 Franklins, 26 64's, 20 40%.
    2 2011 - $160 in CWR yielded 35 Franklins, 85 64's, 34 40%.

    Finally, ........

Best find came at an estate sale that I randomly stunbled upon waiting for banks to open:
1 1916 D Mercury Dime (Amongs others in coin album) for $2.65. Had estimated value by dealer placed at $500 AND
1 Almost full 56/58 Indian Head Cent album including flying Eagles and only missing 2 coins for $20. Had dealer estimate value $900 - $1200. I paid $20 for the whole book and there are more than 30 coins in the book worth over $20 EACH.

Have some other cool finds but value wise they could not crack the top ten. I just thought would be fun to share and see what kind of scores you long time searchers have in your top ten. I know some of the Florida guys have some bigger finds than mine.

PS Some of the finds were more valuable at the time but I am using todays silver values.

    Box of dimes: skunk
Shoebox full of pennies from a garage sale: 3 wheat, a 68-S proof, a dime, 258 copper, 929 zinc, 2 Canadian pennies (early 80's), and one British penny (1991). Bought it all for $10.

Also scored a 59-D quarter in amazing shape at another garage sale. The seller let me have it for free with my other purchases.

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

So I decided that until I gain all of the money to buy the 2012 ASE Set, I will use that money for roll searching. Wish me luck!

Something was wrong with my home computer, it wouldn't let me log in. Any ideas?

    Over the weekend:

    $6.50 face halves - 5x '64, 1x '68.
    $70 BWR halves - skunk
    $250 BWR dimes - 1 roosie
    1 teller tray '54 quarter
    2 reject slot '64 quarters

Sold some 90% @ $19 times face, picked up some walkers for the album and some nice foreigns, including a '47 Swiss 2 Franc that I needed for under melt.

Scored 4 X Roosie on Friday night from a box.
It seems I can only find silver on Friday's for the past couple weeks.
    Is it Friday yet?

Hi Guys I have a ?OR 2 I recently went through 2 boxes of halves and one box had a stamp in red dated 05/11/12 both boxes skunked except for one 71S proof. I am afraid I am getting newly checked coins 90% had black marker marks. What do you think? The last 2 boxes had 4 each 40%ers. Should I order more? or go for a dif delivery service, Like the fed or something? Second ? is I save all the coins I see that look like errors do coins that have mint marks that are a heap of metal worth anything? or slight double mint marks or a mint mark that should be there but was not stamped hardly at all? What do you think and do any of you keep any kind of errors?
    THANKS JON

I was going to snap a picture of this, but decided it wasn't worth it. Over the last 3 days I have received 2 ATB quarters. A 2012 Chaco Couture (I think that is how you spell it...the coin is put away.) and a 2011 Chickasaw. I have received in change and laundry funds multiple 2010-2011 ATB quarters but just recently decided to keep them. A few of each anyways.

Yea I'm keeping one each of the ATBs currently but I sometimes wonder if I should be keeping more, since the mintages is so low.

After around 5 months of really looking for them, I have all of them from 2010 and 2011 except for Gettysburg D. I have both El Yunques and I just got a P Chaco Culture a week or so ago. It's taking a long time to find all the D marked Territory quarters I want for a roll here on the east coast as well.

It definitely feels like with sooooooo many different kinds of quarters in circulation, it's hard to find one of the recent designs with lower mintage. It makes it exciting for me to collect, but I really am not too sure any of it will be worth anything some day.

...And I really can't decide if I want to spend 18.95 on a roll of S marked quarters :(

Went to a branch today on my break at work. This branch doesn't order coin very often, since they do mostly personal banking, and not too awful much business banking. Anyway, got as many CWR of nickels and cents as they could spare (wasn't much - 3 rolls of nickels, 10 rolls of cents).
Nickels didn't yield much, but 7 of the cent rolls were in old looking wrappers. Newest coin in those rolls was a 1976, most were from the 1960s. Those were pretty solid. Most had 3 or more wheats in them.
    Total from those:
$3.50 in cents: 14 wheats; Canadian: 1942 George VI, 1956 Eliz II, 2 1967 centennials.
    And of course, 100% copper.

I have one of the girls up in the cash office at work always searching for me, and she came up with 2 gems while rolling coins to send to the bank yesterday. 2006 S Silver Proof South Dakota Mount Rushmore quarter and a 1961 quarter that is about as shiny as you could ask for from circulation. The best part is she just gets excited that she finds them and gives them to me for nothing!
