Above average box of dimes today yielded a '35 merc, '48 roosie, and '61 roosie. The '61 had such a bright edge I was sure it was a canadian! It was a pleasant surprise pulling it out of the stack.

Picked up $10 in nickels to search during lunch today. Found a dateless buffalo, a 1996 planchet chip, and about of half dozen pre 60's

    HOLY CRAP. Any pics?
Is that 42-D one of these?

Did three boxes of halves today. First had one 40%er, the other two were skunks. The first box was $2.50 short, and this is how it looked:

I'll be opening every box inside the bank for a look from now on!

Yeah, this month has been slow for me too. But we're only four business days into it, there's time for things to turn around!

Th nasty looking coins have got some kind of glue on them. This is the 2nd time I have gotten them like this.

$100 in dollars, not one P in the bunch. (Los Angeles, we West Coast folks get the Ds mostly)
    $10Dimes nothing
    $10 Nickles one 1956D
    $3 Pennies coppers, one 1939
    $20 Half dollars one 1968 D
    And a 2005 D I think those aren't being circulated after 2001.

On the President dollars, is anyone else saving one each, of the edge lettering pointing to Obverse and the Reverse?

    $5 CWR cents
got a Nice 2000 WAM! The reverse looks MS but the obverse has a small stain near the one edge and a little fingerprint.
336/500 were copper. ridiculous percentage of copper there, but there were no wheats. Very strange.

In other news, I'm finally going to get serious about halves, I've got 8 boxes of them ordered for next week... along with 4 boxes of cents and 2 boxes of dimes :)

Though I've had good results from bags of dimes, today I picked up a box. Skunk. My 6th dime skunk box in a row. My average now is a paltry 0.72 silver dimes per box. I don't know why I still pick them up.....

I also did a box of nickels and found one 42 S War Nick. Also found 5 from the 30s, 8 2009 D, and a bunch from the 40s.

Box of halves: skunk on silver, but there was a 1987-S.
    $200 BWR dimes: one beat-up 1945 Merc. Can't tell if it's a D or S.
$2 BWR pennies: 49 coppers, nothing too exciting.

For those that search pennies (cents, excuse me ;) ), what sort of copper to zinc ratio is normal?

I thought my Barber Dime a week or 2 ago was a one-time deal, and I just found this in a box of dimes:

I'm pretty stoked! The box has produced 2 roosies as well so far, I'm contemplating opening the last 10 rolls but I'm soooo pooped, it'll probably have to wait til tomorrow.

My June has been off to a pretty nice start, hope my recent car problems don't put a damper on my roll searching this month!

Looks like somebody spent a collection at face. Too nice to have been in circulation for that long. Nice score!

Well, final count from that box is 3 Roosies and the Seated Liberty dime. Can anyone help me estimate grade? Wondering if I should bother sending it in to get slabbed or what...
