I am sorry to hear that, I have had the same experience when asking other branches or banks, My bank is a Capitol one bank same bank I have had for years in west Houston. I also found a Wells Fargo that will order but only 2k every 2-3 weeks.

Yep, a Cap One bank told me that they got a regional note that said they couldn't order anymore....at least you are in West and not in my area.....there already some cutthroats in my area..... Hopefully, your Cap One won't cut you off....

Yea I guess cause of the cost to ship the coins Banks are starting to crack down. 3 other Cap One banks in my area said they are not allowed and one said it costs $75.00

box of halves- 2 40%ers a 65' and 68' , haven't found a 90%er in a long time. Some good banter on this thread today.

Two boxes of halves: skunk, then two 40%ers and two 64's. The 64's were in the same roll, and one is bright and shiny while the other has some real nasty toning -- my guess is from cigarette smoke.

The Banksupplies.com office is about 3 minutes from my house. I see the sign everyday on the way to work. They must do decent business.

Oh, also, did $15 in CWR cents today (as much as they could spare).
There were 3 different types of wrappers, and all that were the "50c Pennies" rolls with diamonds on them, were 5-8 cents over. Very noticeably longer than the other rolls they gave me. That was about 10 rolls or so.
And one of them had a brown nickel crammed in it. I've found many dimes in CWR, but never a nickel. They really had to force it in there too, I was surprised they didn't notice it was Jefferson instead of ol' Abe.
EDIT: 5 wheats, by the way, and nothing very special.

Then may I suggest you slow down a little and not order 10 a week? At some point, they'll cut you off and maybe all Cap Ones in Houston will do the same (there are others that I go to that still order). This is a fun hobby, but if we get too greedy, it may be cut off for all of us.

    Please consider...

Walkers.JPG I don't post very often but with this find I hit a milestone today. It has taken almost 3 years but I crossed over the 100 Walker mark which I never thought possible. The other reason I posted this was because I have to go look but it has a chance to be in my top 10 finds of the three years, so I thought I would share. As after this find I was feeling lucky, I made a stop at an unusual midweek garage sale and picked up 27 Barber dimes, some SMS sets, some BU silver quarters and a 1920 SLQ all under melt. A fun day for sure.

    Garage Sale

Not sure if you can zoom enough to see but here are a few of the garage sale coins I picked up by luck today. The best part is she has a bunch more she wants me to come look at next week so my fingers are crossed for sure! These washingtons are BU and the other coins are better dates.

just found this in my change today, pretty sure it's a war nickel that's coated with silver or chrome. I did a quick google search and saw some sort of old set of these that someone made at some point, I guess this got cracked out.

I should mention that I'm pretty sure these are chrome plated, as the coating seems to be weakly magnetic.

Box of nickels - 1905 V Nick. That puts me at 5 V nicks, about 100 miles behind Merc and his sweet V nickel score, but I will take it!

Did you get them for the prices on the stickers? I'd buy up all she had if she's selling silver quarters for $2!

I live in Calgary Alberta Canada and I am putting together sets of coins for my children, nieces and nephews...and a few siblings. I am keeping 50 or more of each type of coin. This is mainly for the Canadian coins but I have coins from all over too. I search pennies and quarters mostly the last while. I have found a lot of American Wheat pennies recently. Not sure why. I have a whole box of new from the mint 2011 Canadian pennies right now. Anyone need any of them?
