    2 boxes of halves = 2 skunks.

That's 8 and counting. My biggest streak so far.

    Bobbeth,

I find that chanting three times works better for me. Try it out.

I went to a bank today because I know they get deliveries today and asked for a box of dimes. This is not an out of the ordinary request from me and they told me they did not have enough. I left to go deposit a check and went back in to ask for them to specifically order two boxes for me for next week. They told me because of the holiday they did not have enough to sell me a box. Called another branch and will pick one up on the way home. I chanted a couple days ago so I hope this box I get tonight has something for me!

Been doing half dollar rolls for a while I order $5,000 a week 10 boxes
this week was actually the best
    1964: 26
    Frankie: 4
    Walkers: 7
    Morgans: 2
    40%ers: 73
Proofs: 2 worth keeping (almost full mirror)

I know silver has been terribly down lately so I will be hoarding for a while.

Another box of halves, another skunk. 6 skunks in a row. I've found more silver halves in my garden then I have in my last 6 boxes.
Box of dimes plus $80 in BWR produced 2 Roosies.

Well my personal bank allows me to order as many as I want with out fees' I typically order $5,000.00 in halves this past week I ordered $10,000.00 and let my friend search them for a cut of the profit (saves me a lot of time :*)).

As for dumping... there is a "Chase" bank down the street from me that accepts them rolled.
I tried to use free coin stars at a few of my banks but they always break after around $1,000.00 coins in (overheats).

So we came up with the quick roll method...

Take around 8 coins and use clear packing tape to make them stick together.
Buy a few boxes of rolls from Banksupplies.com (cheap).
Unwrap machine roll. (use knife to lift first part of roll on an entire box to make with the quickness)
use taped coin to stabilize the new wrapper, plus you can just drop coins from your roll in and they stay in formation.
fold top part after 20 coins are in new roll.
    flip take out taped coins.
    fold bottom part.
    WIN

With this method (took several ideas to get it this quick)
I can unwrap, search, re roll, and put back in original box, an entire box (#$500.00 or 1,000 coins) in under 45 minutes.
I typically do this while watching a movie or what not after work. and I can go through the boxes I order over a few week days to get ready for the following week.

Best thing to do if you can find a bank that will let you order for free and with out limit.
and a secondary bank that will let you dump (rolled is quicker sadly)

I personally hate rolling but after my experience any other way it is quickest. There is also some banks that you just dump in a plastic bag and they send them off to be counted (some banks charge for this).

Yuck....I keep having banks shut down free ordering of boxes because of another guy ordering too many......Is it you? Have you ever switched banks? If not, I appologize, if yes, then be prudent and don't order too many because it does cost the banks to order coin.

What part of Houston? I'm in the Clear Lake area...

Yes, I know what a Morgan dollar is, but you talked about searching half dollar boxes throughout your post and put "Morgan" in your list directly between "Walkers" and "40%ers", so I just needed some clarification.

We know what a Morgan Dollar is, but you were talking about halves and mentioned a Morgan. Did you mean a Barber Half? Or did you find 2 Morgans searching through Ikes? We just want clarification....
