Searched $115 in CWR dimes because that's all they would sell me. Was not expecting much but got the following...

    2 X Roosie
    1 X Merc
    1 X 2008 1/2 Franc - I know it's not silver but much cooler than a Canadian dime.

What's the mint for that one? If it's a Philly, you've hit a minor jackpot, beyond just finding a Barber.

well, I ramped up on nicks. usually to do 5 rolls once a month, did 50 this last week.
    41, 41s, nice mix of 28 from the 1950's including a 55 I needed for my album. some 60's keepers and 4 2009D
also some keepers newer dates better than average grades. Hit 3 rolls that must have been someone's jar they rolled up because there was very little circulation wear and almost all were pre 2000. looked like 15 years newer than most rolls. I raked them slow over the coals. All in all, good fun & good finds. Finally found an 08 Philly. It takes forever for those things to roll 3000 miles to the left coast, and that mountain is in the way too. lol

You know, I just started back doing roll searches a few months ago. I had forgotten how much I enjoy it. I had 5 rolls of nicks I socked away in the mid 1970's and I'm glad I did. Filled a new album most the way up with some better grades. Now I'm filling it out and putting away some more hoard for another who know how many years. Just 'cause.

Still haven't found a stinkin' 05 bison Philly. Anyone want to trade one for something Denver? I have bazillions of Denver. Something like a light circulation AU 58 will do nicely, doesn't need to be PErfEct, just decent and kinna' purdy'.

call me 'havin fun in the sun'

Quite the contrary, they like me! Donuts work miracles! I buy from 5 branches but dump at one. Enjoying while I can! New to this, what is an ender? I only look for silver, and keep all proofs. Anything I should be looking for in particular? Thanks!!!

The 1914 Barber I found Had and S on it, I looked it up and saw that philly only had 124,000 minted, That would have been awesome but i'm not complaining in the least, This was my first barber and first walking liberty out of Loomis wrapped rolls, guess i cant give up on them yet. Just got 2 boxes of dimes and a box of nicks so ill post those results later on.

Uncirculated can mean a coin from a roll or set or bag that's never been passed around, so it has never circulated, but it can also refer to a grade. even a coin that has been around for a while can retain the grade quality of "uncirculated", if it hasn't been rubbed, beat up or banged around. usually graded as 60 or higher on the grading number scale (that goes from 0 to 70).

Dittos of fun spending them. the puzzled looks at the fast food, that turns bright as they realize what it is. Then the "I'm saving these" it's fun!

So you are getting about 8 boxes at each of the 5 banks you 'buy' from? Just when I thought I'd seen it all. Well if they aren't hassled by it, all i have to say is wow, because I know I'd do that much and more if any bank would let me. At that rate you will have accumulated all of Bob & Erin's finds in only 6 months.

Took three years but a TD bank finally got sick of me and cut me off from dumping. Ugh.
