Today was a good day for dimes!
    $2 loose halves: nothing
    $20 BWR dimes: Nothing
$360 CWR dimes: Four silver Roosies, one Merc, two Canadian, and a UK 5p

Also found a 1979 S proof Susan B, even though it barely looks like a proof anymore.

True, but I've found a 1979S proof SBA. Spotted it in a teller's dollar/half bin she kept in her drawer. It had only the slightest cameo/mirrored fields, but it was identifiable. She was holding it by the obverse/reverse while looking at it and asking "Why do you want this one?" I felt like slapping her in the face.
Clorox, I'd make sure it's got square rims, if you're having trouble recognizing it by the obv./rev.

Getting out of work early-ish (4:30p) today, and I'm very exciting to go get my 2 boxes of nickels. It's been so busy at work (7a-5p), and I haven't been able to pick up change since last week. I'm getting the shakes. But tonight, 2 boxes of nickels and a few cocktails should calm me right down.

my local gas station puts foreign coins in a cup for me. On Tuesday they put this one in the cup. It is a 1902 Peruvian Dinero (90% silver).

Anyone care to give a grade estimate on this foreign piece? There was only 375,000 produced and this is the stats

    Year

    Value

    Metal

    Weight

    Diameter
    1888-1916
    1 Dinero (0.1 PEH)
    Silver (.900)
    2.5 g
    17.8 mm

For the first time in what seems like forever, I struck paydirt in a roll of Halves. For some strange reason I asked the local Wells Fargo where our hotel does it's banking if they had any rolls of halves. I've done this in the past and they look at me funny and say no. Well yesterday they actually had $100 in CWR's. I bought them all and once I started going through them i was disappointed that they were just someone's partial drop since it was a lot of bicentenials and 72s, that is until I got to roll number 8. Five 40%ers and one 1964! I can't even think of the last time I found that much silver in a box, let alone one roll. Even though two of the 40% ones have large PVC/Tape Damage, silver is silver. Great to actually find some again!

Well, this week's coin counter bag pickup fell through - they didn't have a full bag this week. It's too late for this week, but I told them I'd take a bag of quarters any time there isn't a bag of dimes available. I'm going to end this week pretty slow, 3 silver dimes.

Might want to learn about cropping photos.

So, my 2 nickel boxes yielded:
    1: 2 war nicks
    2: 1 war nick

And box 1 had what I think is either struck through, or maybe a capped die.. I'll take a pic later and post.

1 Box of dimes, 1/2 BWR skunk, 1/2 CWR 2 rosies (1952, 1964), 2nd box of dimes all BWR, 1 rosie 1964. Congratulations on the Mercury dime. I am looking forward to the day that we find one. That brings today's total to 13/40% halves and 4/90% dimes.

    Two more boxes down.

    box 1: 2 40%
    box 2: skunk

woo whoo!!! finally found a couple.

I have two more boxes to go through on hand, and two more on top of that depending on when I can get them. Vault teller was not there when I went to pick them up so we will see if I can get to them before they sell them to someone else.

Thought I was going to strike out at work today, but the very last roll of dimes I got to open yielded a 1962 Roosevelt dime. Woot!
