Surprised I didn't get an email, but Frank posted his new auction.

As usual, some nice coins but starting bids alone on the few I do like scare me off

Yeah, I didn't get an email yet either. Some good coins. I bid on 3 so far.

 

Already? Not that I'm complaining, but it feels like the last one just finished!

Some nice items there, but his monochrome coin photography skills may be the worst in the business.

 

Agreed. However, his descriptions are better than most even without always having a reference or measurements.

 

Of course there is also the entertainment value of his descriptions. I always manage a laugh or 2 when reading these.

Hmmm. I wonder if anyone bought that coin of "OOG"? (yes this is an inside joke for those of us who have read many of Frank's descriptions over the years.)
