    Do you know if Carr deliberately created a clashed die coin? I'm asking because other coins he produced (that I've seen) have nice and clean fields.

    Yes, it was deliberate.

    Here is another variety he created that I've been fortunate enough to obtain. His photos, not mine. I've got to schedule my own photo shoot.
