This looks very much like a coin I've seen recently. I believe there correct attribution is sir Lovabiganus. Somebody just posted a thread about this same modern replica https://www.cointalk.com/threads/mayan-incan-nocan.364303/#post-4696228 Oh, that was you. Why ya posting the same nonsense twice, girlfriend?
I can't say for absolute certain but it looks like Benito Juarez to me! Problem is, I don't know of such a coin. Could be a special occasion tribute coin as well, meaning there weren't many minted! Does it test positive for silver? Looks like the pic!
In my opinion, the portrait could be that of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/in...&f=&g=&tb=y&tc=y&tn=y&tp=y&tt=y&cat=y&ct=coin
You're right, could be your guy, idk, looks like him. Here's a ring of mine with your guy on it and a couple more pics of Benito Juarez when he was an older guy! Both your guy and mine died in the 1800's but their faces, (forgot the technical name), was used on many coins and medals thereafter.
@fretboard. I believe this is your coin: The coin is not mine. More info can be found on this site: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2563.html
Yeah, that's the coin but it's not really mine. I just grabbed the obverse of the coin to use as an example. Meaning I just grabbed a pic of the obverse off of ebay. Appreciate your knowledge tho'!
