Maybe this is better. Guess not. It won't enlarge any better.

    PMD, it's just a rim bump. :)

Like this one? o_O lol........... but seriously, I'm not sure. The one depicted isn't PMD. Win some, lose some. 1899.png

This one is different. Can you show the edge to?

Which? The first one or second one?

I don't have either yet. The 1899 is a VAM. Messydesk already confirmed that. This is a photo from VamWorld. VAM 6A.

I like collecting Morgan oddities. So I looked into this online. I'll have to see what it looks like when it arrives. There are Morgans out there with cuds that aren't VAMs. Found a pretty extreme one for sale. but doesn't make them valuable.

Just trying to learn. Wouldn't it be more conclusive seeing the edge too?

There's clearly a dent in the circumference of the coin at that spot, so I'm thinking rim damage.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

The 84S is definitely a rim ding, classic presentation.

The 99 is a (very small) cud.

When it arrives, I'll take a photo. This is why I said buying off the internet is a form of gambling.

On the 1899, when I see this look, I wonder if it could be a fin that folded over with circulation. Not really my world.
