Yeah, I thought at first it was $60 for all the coins. Maybe a little pricey, but not completely ridiculous. Then I read the description. :p

My kids and grandkids live out on the West Coast so I have gotten used to higher than back East costs and prices. I think maybe I'll take some of my less than stellar ancients with me on my next visit and post them out there.

Coins do not behave as good wine: getting more expensive in time. Some people have this funny association: very old= very rare= very expensive.

At this rate I'll sell my hoard coins of uncleaned bronze late romans for $42,000 (that would be $60 a piece, approximately) - what a deal!!!

People on the "West Coast"? I know where your "less than Stellar" ancients will fit quite nicely.

I must always laugh when inexperienced sellers advertise their ancients:
Antoninus Pius as with sow and piglets: "As of Antoninus Pius Rv. sow with snuckling pickles":playful:
    "Antoninus sisters coin" apparently 'sestertius'
and for those who understand a little French: " Augustus with the 'hotel de Lyon'"

At least as funny as idiotic prices!

Snuckling pickles might be the best thing I've heard all year. I want a coin with the snuckling pickles!
