Is there really any other word to say than "Wow." ? I don't think so. Your collection is one of the best out there, the best I've ever heard of at least! You're the envy of the lot of us paper collectors, and don't let idiots get you down. :)

If this is your starting post this time I can't wait to see your finish!!

And don't worry about what some people say only the ones that matter.

Amazing, thanks for posting your collection, this is a reference thread for me. Were you serious about the name calling, where was that?

It was awhile back in another thread.
And it was uncalled for and just wrong.
But yea just a great set to look at for sure!

I'm a little bias to loving the $5 Small Sized FRN(s) in your collection. I have the entire $5 set with the '28c & '28d - always like to see nice $5 Lincoln's.

It's called a guilty conscience....had to be there. This is a fine set of notes but nothing particularly rare....Lot's of high grade average stuff but obviously stunning for this "enviornment" . Congrat's again Rickie for capturing a flock..

    So Payton...

To spell this out for you since you cant seem to get it through your numb skull which is obvious, the following took place as I have explained more than twice now. All you really had to do was check join dates and thread dates to see the truth of the matter.
So for you, to make it simple where you can understand it better the following is listed:

    1. RickieB join date at Coin Talk 3-11-2005

    2. RickieB join date at Collectors Univ 04-2005 (0 post's- until 2009)

    3. "Coin Talk Under Attack" Thread posted by Arizona Jack 06-13-2009

    4. JunkYardDog joins CU on 06-15-2009 to see why people over at CU would bad mouth us here at CT (as mentioned numerous time)

    5. The Minority (including you) at CU did not let me down, based on Arizona Jack's Thread and what he claimed.. as I intentionally began at CU with a BOLD entrance as planned (and mentioned before)

So you see Payton or what ever you are called at Collectors Universe...in your little mind your logic is askew. And if you think this forum is such a lousy "environment" then why even visit it?

Oh.. one more thing.. I never claimed to have an ultra rare collection..my whole intent is to complete the New York Small Size District Set from 1928 to current...so put that in your fact's book so you will not get that confused either. And the best thing you can do is slither back over to CU where you belong.

And I am sure you just won more ""Brownie Points" by calling our members a "flock"! You are on a roll... mooncalf :)

    Regards,

    RickieB

Nice collection! I realy like the 50, 100, 500 & 1000's. And your other thead with the large notes was great. I still go back to that thread just to stare at them.

    From Brian

"Rickie you have some nice notes there for sure. I just dont understand why you feel you need to post them all here. Do you think this gives you some sort of power?
I think the main reason you get picked on is because you need to stroke your ego so much. "

Well stated Brian.....This is exactly the case. Some folks feel they must be on a soap box at all times. No question about this being a fine collection. I won't bother to address the rambling response above as I could only stomach about half of it. If the RB flock is happy that's all that matters. This hasn't always been the case.....

That's it fo the $5 so far...some of these scanned a tad bit more yellow..did not color correct as the scanner settings were for the large size.

    Thanks

    Nice!!

I like that error in there too.
And why do you have a VF35? In most people's I would not question that but your the king of High Grades :D
Oh and what's the deal with the 2 with the extra seal in black close to the other seal?
    Thanks

Duke that VF35 has been the only note I have seen in a while come up for this Series..it may be so common that it is not worth the dealers while having..who knows??

The black seal is on the mylar sleeve from the BEP..I forgot to turn it to the back..
