Ribbed rim penny?

    I don't think this occurred at the Mint. Looks like it was intentional.

    The cent was removed from a Lucky Cent holder. It's damage from being pressed into the holder.

    There were a lot of different dies used to create these holders. Because of this there are a lot of different looks to the damage done to the rims and edges of the coins. This is another example that's a bit fun.
