    IMO coinage of the Rhodesias is severely underrated... small mintages, high attrition, and substantial and growing interest.

    Some great designs. Think I want a few. Especially the 1947 ones.Thanks for sharing SiberianMan. Have Brit. silver and I have a few silver Boer coins and they are next to my silver Booker Washington and Washington Carver coins. Will try to post some pictures next week.

    One crowmn 1953, silver .500, weight - 28,29 g., size - 38,5 mm, mintage - 123500 pcs. Engravers: Mary Gillick (obverse - portrait on queen Elisabeth II) and Thomas Humphrey Paget (reverse). "100th Birthday of Cecil Rhodes". Single release. Demonetized at June 1 1965.

    One shilling 1956, copper-nickel, weight - 5,7 g., size - 23,6 мм, mintage - 1700000 pcs. Engravers: Mary Gillick (obverse - portrait) & Paul Vincze (reverse). Such coins were released at 1955-57. Demonetized at June 1 1965.
