    Thank you for sharing your beautiful owl @Curtisimo. Been slowly collecting these over the different periods. Some "got shanked in the back alley" more than others (not including the example from this year):

    Nice :) - of the Romans, I especially liked 1, 5 & 6 and no. 6 of the Greeks, but all are great.

    They’re all nice, but the portrait and contrasting toning on the quinarius at the top grabbed me the most.

    Again, all nice, but from the Greek list, I must confess I’ve got a weakness for “crabby” Akragas coins, so those crustaceans are the ones that really reached out and pinched me.

    Probably the only time someone telling you “wow, you’ve got crabs!” is a compliment, eh? ;)

    (*I still have not yet trained my brain to recognize the word distater without misreading it as “disaster” every time. LOL)

    PS- honorable mention: that sweet little Corinthian drachm. Lovely.
