Really, Surfin' USA was on the reverse? I don't think I had the 45rpm. They're a huge fav, though, too. Well tell the teacher we're surfin'! Surfin' USA!

    Brilliant minds think alike......:)

Or maybe, somewhat, not so brilliant minds?

I care to think the former.......:)

Well, yeah, Surfin' USA was the biggie. It was on the heads side, the obverse.

    Right.......:)

That's how we can legitimize this type of 'speak' in a coin forum........:)

The winning bidder on that RP placed ONE max bid and won by the minimum increment over the second bidder that came in AFTER his. There is NO TELLING how high this nut would've gone.

And of course we must be tolerant of dissenting points of view in these forums. After all, there are two sides to every 45rpm. :D

However there arent two sides to this thread. This set is becoming a monster and securing itself as the COTC.

I know it's hard to tell at this point how much interest there is in these two dimes, but if thread views are an indicator, WOW, more that 12,000 views in less than a month!

I've noticed, SQG, that you refer to both dimes, but many other fanboys only care to comment on the reverse proof. Why do you think that is? Both are equally rare or not. I tend to gravitate toward the "other" piece.
