Revamped HJB site launched

Well, I do remember HJB original website. Wow, so bad (but, we all had bad sites back then!!!). This new launch is worlds away from what it was and I really like it. I used to program my own site back in the day. Learning HTML and scripting was a big thing, but tech changes so fast and frequent I could not keep up! I gave it up at least 10 years ago. Sure, lots of sites have some glitches, but man, it takes a lot of money and time. Nicely done, keep the good work up! I do like it.

I very seldom wear my HJB hat here--almost all of my posts pertain to general info or to my own collection--so perhaps I can be forgiven a rare exception. After quite literally years of effort, the HJB website has been completely revamped. It's really pretty, light and airy and easy to navigate, without the "dark" look people griped about. In addition to typical aspects of a commercial site, it features among other things scans of every catalogue the firm has ever issued. That's pretty cool and helpful.

(At this point some of you are muttering "wait wait, I thought Phil finally retired?!" Well, I seem to have unretired at least for awhile. Don't ask, it's complicated!)

Thank you for posting that website, Volodya! I'm fairly new to ancients collecting and I've never seen it before.
