Retirement Gift From Myself...To...Myself

I purchased this on Saturday and it arrived today. Pretty fast turn around for the US Mint.
I gotta say, I'm glad I pulled the trigger. I retire in June so this is an early retirement gift to myself

Nice "self gift." I was going to order one for my friend, retired Navy, but I don't know if he is worth $160. LOL.

 

I actually was offered a job last week. Doing the same thing I'm doing now. Just as a real person.
I happily accepted it. Can't wait to start (continue?) my job

Don't retire, just reduce the amount. Total Retirement is the first step to the "Big Sleep". I have now retired 3 times, Retire, wait until all rewards are in effect, repeat, repeat. I am planning another retirement next Christmas Jim

 

I'm only 38 and have 4 kids. There will be no full retirement for me any time soon...if ever haha.

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. Did you spend 20 or 30 years in the military? I can’t remember. Beautiful coin and a great gift to yourself. If you think you’re going to have more time to play with coins, think again my friend. Your wife has a honey-do list that’s very long. It started when you joined the service. Thank you for your years of service.
