Not really that familiar with these, but I'd probably spitball it at Fine or so.

You're welcome. :) I was off both times. I need to get my eyes checked.
I have no idea when it comes to dies and values. I know it does affect values on certain dates.

I looked at the ngc price guide and they have VF listed @ $85....Doesn't show a value 4 G, VG or F.... Which was ultimately why I posted her, 1st coin of the type and now I want an upgrade!!!

I sometimes try to imagine what some of the members collections look like here, it's like yea, I have 3 or 4 of these in AU/Unc just thrown into a mason jar somewhere with some of my other lower value $400-$500 coins. I'll hafta see if I can dig them out, now where did I leave that jar? In the garage, behind my coffee can full of UNC Standing Liberty Quarters, hmmmmmm

Hahahaha mine certainly are not AU/Unc. They are more like yours. I also paid melt for them :)

I'd call it Fine (American grade).

I'd take a VG gothic florin over an MS65 Morgan any day of the week. ;)

    Nice pick up!

Well, depends on the date of said ms65 Morgan. BUT, I'd take an original XF/AU gothic florin over a common date ms66 morgan.:woot:

I'd call that a VG, certainly worth more than melt. The Godless and Gothic Florins are addictive, here's the "Godless" version which omitted Dei Gratia in my type set:

And my type example of the "Gothic" Florin:

Some of the years seem to tone really nicely (better than mine), so keep an eye out for those.

As a British collector I would rate it VG. I'd not melt it but I'd value it around that.
