I found it in a box of my local dealer yesterday. And I got it for 77 cents only. It is 5 shillings 1960, silver .640, weight - 5,2 g., size - 23,5 mm, thickness - 1,4 mm, mintage - 12618000 pcs. Engravers: Hans Kottenstorfer - obverse (horseman) & Josef Koblinger - reverce (face value). Coins of this type were released at 1960-68. Demonetized at September 30 1969.
Nice find, especially at such a price. The design was continued until the end of the schilling years by the way, but not in silver any more. (Between 1968 and 1998 they were in Cu-Ni.) The horse and horseman refer to the Vienna Spanish Riding School ...
