    Hi again!

I have posted this before, but hope to get some feedback on the luster of this coin - if the video below helps.

Its a wonderful 1806 Draped Bust Half Dollar Stem variety. Its in the raw and I am trying to decide on a grade for this.

My first thought was perhaps a high XF to low AU, but most of the response so far have said mid 50s on it. Perhaps its just that i am not so familiar handling the Draped Bust series - but from what I have understood and seen on the specimens of this series I have handled - is that they are somewhat notoriously weak struck..?

Here are all the photos I have as well as a video.

    Any updated comments, @johnmilton , @ksparrow or orthers? :)

    Thanks again!

I can't decide. The first set of images make me think AU-50 but the second set make me think XF-45. Either way it's a really nice coin.

I think that it would certainly make it into an AU-50 holder today, if not an AU-53.

Thanks again you all for the inputs! I had a hard time believing a high AU grade for this but Ill settle for AU-53 anyday :)
