Typically all it does is give brown toned copper a glossy look that simulates the look of natural luster when it is applied sparingly and with skill. It does this because the of oily film it puts on the coins.</p><p><br /></p><p>Granted, Coin Care, if used in a certain way, might remove some dirt and or accumulation of environmental contaminants.
