Again, not a big deal, but 91% alcohol is not "rubbing" alcohol, and is definitely not an impure acetone. Acetone is a ketone. Isopropyl alcohol is, well....alcohol. Each have their uses, but similar they are not. And again, acetone is a ketone. "Better Living through Chemistry". PS: Credit to Dupont for that one, not me.
Uh no!!!! Cannot believe that was stated. He got these back for a reason as he stated so I’m assuming they mean something to him and also no doubt there is value and sedimental. Assuming of course. I would get a layout of towels or blanket, start there. You will look at the one by one anyway, so there you go. I’m babbling but don’t glue!
Afraid the vodka is 100 proof, which is 50% alcohol. Need Everclear if you want to approach 95%. 100% is absolute alcohol, which has to come from a chemical supplier. 100% alcohol is very hygroscopic and will quickly absorb water from the air until it's 95%. Cal
These coins smell much, much better, though I can still detect a faint scent of smoke. I’m going to leave them out one more day and then ask my wife to smell them. Her nose is even more discerning than mine. Edit: @ldhair your advice was helpful, thank you.
190 proof Everclear that's some potent stuff, It will make you take back things you didn't even steal. I have a memory of drinking some sitting in line going into the Drive Inn where you put the speakers in the car or truck window on Prom night of 1972
I DON'T recommend using Grape Kool Aide as a mixer with Everclear. Just a friendly Public Service Announcement
