Today, December 15th was Remember the Bill of Rights Day. Two hundred twenty-four years ago, December 15, 1791 the Bill of Rights were ratified. Franklin D. Roosevelt created the holiday, "a day to remember how fortunate we are to be governed by a charter that guarantees 'freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and the free right to petition the Government for redress of grievances.'"
