I &quot;played the part&quot; pressing the screen to read about crypto to buy some time in case he walks back. I wait for him to disappear and what do you know? Four silver dimes and a 1938 Canadian nickel were waiting for me.</p><p><br /></p><p>Then another time some high school girls were using a Coinstar. I could see the reject tray was full as I walked by. I left the area and came back five minutes later after they were done. I picked up some nice change including the 1942 wheat cent and five centavos from Ecuador.</p><p><br /></p><p>Finally, on another day I observed a guy redeeming a jar of coins. I walked over after he was done and found a nice 1950-S dime. On other occasions I found some kind of ring-type thing with an ornate edge. Perhaps it is silver. It appears to be quite old and to have seen some notable circulation.</p><p><br /></p><p>Anyway, some may argue it is unethical to wait around and not inform the Coinstar users of what they are leaving behind.
