I have to say it felt really light despite not seeming to heavily worn

Checked 5 coinstars today and one of them had a 2011 dime and 8 cents. I don't do this a lot but it sure would be nice to find a silver someday.

It just takes a bit of patience, the average for me has been 1 silver every 15 times I check. I did get lucky my first time finding a 54' quarter.

Yes I agree, the silver will come. In just a few months I have found several Silver Quarters and dimes. Even a Merc dime. This month I am skunked with the silver but Still have a couple of days left. It seems to happen in streaks. Best was 3 pre 1964 quarters and a Merc on the same day. Good Hunting

So far my silver count on coinstar has been 4 dimes and 1 quarter. I'll gladly take anything. I'd love to find a merc though

Being persistent is the main thing... in 3 months, I've found 1 silver quarter, 2 silver dimes, 1 steel cent, and a 1941 wheat cent... along with about $5 in misc. US change, about $2 in Canadian change, and various other foreign coins and gaming tokens.
