Found this in a coinstar reject tray. Anyone know what it is? Any value?

    Sorry for the poor images.

    Thanks

Coin star find this morning. Eight cents, two nickels, four dimes, one is a 1954-S. The first silver coin I have found in a coin star reject tray. This is slao the most coins I have pulled out of a reject tray. If there is anything it usually is one or two cents.

I'm sure it spits out silver because it doesn't weigh the same as clad coins. That's why I found a 1905-O dime in the reject bin once.

Coinstar only accepts coins based on weight so silver does get kicked out. It does most fo the time take wheat cents, but the big dollars like Ikes Morgans and Peace will get rejected as do nearly all foreign.

The screen on the Coinstar machine mentions that Eisenhower dollars will not work in their machines. No mention of Morgan or Peace dollars or any older designs.

    It's a size issue.

They are usually found in the reject slot but can also be found on top of or underneath the machines.
