9 cents in the slot which required hazmat cleaning. The good news I found the lost dime from a few posts back. Scroll, scroll, scroll.
Did it again, walking past a coin star machine the reject slot was chucked full. So after 3 handfuls of coins I walk out of Stop and Shop, I found 1 silver dime about a dollar in dimes, 50 cent in nickels, about 50 pennies a few Canadian coins, 1 foreign coin oh and 1.25 in Quarters. Now this is very rare for me but I'm glad i found them.
First time checking. I happened upon a coinstar machine in the supermarket while approaching my bank's ATM (since they don't have a walk-up at their branch). Noticed a bunch of coins so I scooped them up and checked them later. A dollars worth of US quarters, dimes and nickels plus a Euro "dime" and a heptagonal 2005 50 pence piece. No big deal but still worth the effort walking a few steps out of my way.
Lets see some photos of anything silver, and large scoops. A quarter on the grill and a penny on the shelf. I've had worse.
I've not had any luck recently at the coinstars or reject slots in places. But need to keep looking. Second to last time I went to look, there was a guy pouring coins in so of course I could not check at that time.
Rejected and can't fathom why. No dirt, no glue, not silver , not stuck together, not foreign, perfectly good circulated coins.
