There was a nickel on the "shelf" on the other side of the grill. I thought it was a foreign but it was a new Jeff. 4 cents in the slot along with a 20 centavo coin. Not worthy of a photo.
First find of 2020 at Walmart this past weekend. A 1973 Canadian quarter and two recent Lincoln cents. Nothing too exciting, but haven't found anything else in the last month or so.
Penny on the grill, dime and a penny stuck in the grill acceptor slot that I pulled back and a 50 centavo on the shelf. The interesting thing was the 58-D wheat I got from the store. Great luster on the reverse and toning on the obverse.
I had a huge haul 4 months ago I was in a Albertsons and I was shopping noticed a older guy dumping a bucket into the coin star took him like 15 minutes. Didnt grab the coin reject and cashed in his money and left I looked at the reject slow before I left and found 43 mercury dimes oldest was 1917 5 standing liberty quarters oldest was 1920 28 Washington silvers oldest was 1933 6 wheat cents oldest was 1912 and 14 Roosevelt dimes silver. There were a couple zinclons and tore up coins.
That's either a totally fake story or a very unethical one. I can picture you hiding by a rent-a-carpet-cleaner display for 15 minutes watching the reject tray filling, while you salivate and lick your chops getting ready to pounce on your prey.
Ninety cents in dimes and cents, a UK 10 New Pence 1975, a token for $1 in trade at a car wash, and 5.99 Euros.
7 various tokens, 46 cents Canadian, 6 cents regular US, Mexico 10 centavo, Malawi 10 tambala, and 3 silver dimes. All in a coinstar.
Chill out, dude. It can happen. I had a similar find in 2016 - $11 face of silver quarters at a Coinstar at the local chain grocery store. Also, yesterday, at the same grocery store Coinstar, I found a handful of US coins (cents, nickel, dime, quarter) that included two 50s wheats.
Chill out? I am not skeptical of the find, I was interested in seeing a photo. I have found plenty of interesting coins and scoops myself.
OK. It was under my post. Never assume right? I probably didn't see any quote for (cough, cough) obvious reasons.
Quarter in the inside front right corner, so it wasn't really visible. But I saw a silhouette and went for it. The way things are going these days, that's a monster score.
Only a penny on the grill, but a nice 48 cent semi scoop leave behind in the change cup at the self service check out. Gave me a 6% discount.
