All of that in a reject tray? Holy! All one machine? How does that even happen?

I don't know, but it did. The teller that helped me with it will probably be getting a nice gift card from me for this one.

I'd say, $525 in silver is worth a little extra consideration!

I'll imagine that Inq's head went a little something like this when all those silver q's started dropping like a Vegas slot jackpot. http://youtu.be/lYXyE4WQy-I

Does the coin star machines take Canadian coins? i have a bunch of Canadian coins. Should i just dump them in there to jam it up so they have to open it? Or are you guys just sticking your hand in the reject thing that everyone can check whether its open or not?

Your local bank should exchange canadian money for you for you. Mine does atleast.

I suppose some banks offer a currency exchange service, but I don't think many do. And the ones that do, do they do small change? I would think it'd be paper money only, or at least $1 or more.

I actually called a major bank in downtown Boston about exchanges this past week and you're right on the money about paper only, Lon.

Will banks ever implement machines that will sort out the silver coins from the clad ones?

How'd you get in the reject bin lol

You have to get the machine to jam. Bent coins can do the trick. And then if your lucky they will give you the rejects when they have to open Otto clear the jam.

They just GIVE them to you?! Doesn't coinstar charge like 12% or something?
