Better than being the coinstar customer that collects the rejects but cashes them in at the customer service desk for face value.

Only been to Wegman's a few times but their Coinstar always has stuff in it:

    2 x Two Euros
    1 x 20 Euro cent
    1 clad dime
    2 zinc pennies

Hey, if I'm going to find a circulating, non-US coin, I'll take a 2 Euro. A pair of them is close to 5 bucks!

There's no way to cash in foreign coins in the US. It has to be currency. Unless you are planning a trip to that country or know someone who lives there.
Saturday I found an English pound coin ($1.35) and Sunday a 50 Euro cent (.60)
metal detecting. Be nice to cash them in somehow. GF will use them on jewelry.

Funny you mention that, I was wondering what in the world to do with my hill of Canadian coins!?
I figure once it becomes a mountain, I'll go up north and get it all back in currency. Should nearly fund an entire vacation within a few years time.

This is perfect think of this: A Canadian CoinStar crawl. That is a great vacation idea! Go to your favorite Canadian tourist City. In my case Vancouver BC. That way the family has something to do. Then go free style grope CoinStar machines while you cash in your change. BRILLIANT, thanks for the idea.

Do they have Coinstars in Canada? Probably have $20-$30 CAD in change that I've found in US circulation, roll searching, and Coinstars.

I tend to leave (or place) my QE-II Canadian finds (I keep anything older than 1953) in Coinstar reject trays. I like to think that perhaps I'm planting the seeds of interest for a future collector.

There is a way to donate this change to charity. UNICEF or American Airlines (I think) will accept foreign coins and use it in that country to help people.
Postage is a problem, unless you are already on the plane.
Change for the Better? Something like that.

I actually have seen people on Craigslist with Euro coins they want to sell slightly under exchange rate.

Found a lone silver Rosie in a CoinStar last night! That makes two in the wild finds this week. They always seem to travel in herds haha... maybe something to do with the holiday season.
To top it all off, it was a hole filler! I'm surprised it was because of the relatively high mintage, but it will fit nicely in the From the wild silver Rosie folder
