Hi just wondering if there has been a change with the reeded edge on silver maple leafs in the last few years and if so when did it take place. the reason I ask is I just got a tube of 2010's from g.m. within days my 2013's came (also from g.m.) both within the last week. I put them inside air-tites and stashed them in a coin tray upon which I noticed the reeded edge on the 2010's is much finer (more ridges or reeds) then the edge of the 2013's. I'm hoping they are both legit. please advise.
    Thanks,

i read your post and got a little scared...how did i not notice this? i pride myself on knowing these little details. so i just pulled out a consecutive year tube (one of every year) and i can confirm, the 2013 is the first year of the change.

Thank you for the quick reply I've only been doing this (collecting silver) for about three weeks and only after I started buying did I become aware of "fakes" being sold. I became very concerned when I placed these next to one another and saw the differ. reeding despite they were bought from the same place. needless to say I'm relieved.
