The pictures are much improved jw, looks like you have alot of work to do if you still need to shoot that many more!
I had most of my coin's images backed up on Forum's gallery, but most were old images very poorly made and never updated when I re imaged once before.
I do not intend to bore everyone with every re-shoot. But here is another image where I am pleasantly surprised by the coin. Especially the reverse and more especially the facial features on Securitas. MACRINUS AR Denarius OBVERSE: IMP C M OPEL SEV MACRINVS AVG, laureate & cuirassed bust with short beard right REVERSE: PONTIF MAX TR P COS P P, Securitas standing left, holding scepter & leaning on column Struck at Rome, 217 AD 3.15, 20mm RIC 24, RSC 62, BMC 40
You done a good job with that Macrinus Denarius. I don't mind reshoots. I've been posting a lot of them lately. I have way more to shoot but I probably won't post them all either. Bing, what does the original shoot look like?
Here they are, side by said. The new image is more the color in hand. Old I will also say that as I finish a new image, generally I am discarding the old. I did keep this one, but I am uncertain why.
And yet another I forgot about: ELAGABALUS AR Denarius OBVERSE: IMP ANTONINVS AVG - Laureate, draped bust right REVERSE: P M TR P III COS III P P - Jupiter seated left, holding Victory and scepter; eagle to left Struck at Rome, 220 AD 3.2g, 18mm RIC 27, S 7532
I forgot about this until the reshoot. A rather nice Vijayasena. Vijayasena Kardamaka, son of Damasena As Ksatrapa 160-161 SE (238-239 AD) As Mahaksatrapa 161-173 SE (239-251 AD) Vijayasena Kardamaka as Mahaksatrapa dated SE 164 (242 AD) AR Karshapana 15 mm x 2.14 g Obverse: Bust of Vijayasena wearing collar and satrapal cap. Corrupt Greek legend around. Clear Brahmi date behind bust 164. Reverse: Crescent on three arched hill over a wavy line crescent in left field and sun in the right field.
