Hopefully this is the right forum for this... I am visiting an in-law this weekend in Tampa, FL 33604 and was hoping to visit a local coin shop or 2. I see there are a few listed in the area: Gilder Coins, Village Stamp & Coin, Gainesville Coins, Florida Coin Exhange. Any recommendations? Thanks.
Saw this post just a little too late. I used to live near Macdill AFB but have never visited the local shop you mentioned. I do buy online from recommended dealers I researched in precious metal forums like kitco, survivalboard, etc. There are many reputable ones out there. Not sure if their prices are the same online versus local shop though.
I see a bazillion coin sellers on eBay who hail tampa as home. Try searching for them and messaging them with about your visit?
