I have one I think will fit. How does $19.95 with free shipping if within the U.S grab you? If outside the U.S. I'm sure we can work something out depending on how far you are. If you're not too far that's better of course than if you're really far or really really far. If you're really really really far unfortunately I'm afraid you'll just have to assume the shipping. Mention promo code "CoinTalk" for other outstanding offers...

Well, that's the point! Very hard to find a flat/slotted screwdriver, that's 10mm wide, and less than 1mm thick.

No, not a troll. Some good suggestions given here, thanks all. Gave me some ideas. However, many seem to assume I have a fully kitted out workshop with a grinding tool just waiting to be used.
Anyway, I think the task is futile - I got a chisel which fit in the slot, but the bushing just won't budge. I figure the previous owner of this part (a tripod adapter for a vintage camera, in case anyone is wondering) glued it in there.
I simply bought another, minus the bushing, and I will sell this first one on to someone else.

Oh, one more thing, I came across a cheap Turkish coin, 1 kuruş (1963-1974), which may have done the job (without any glue). Moot point now though.

@osullic …Harbor Freight has all kinds of special tools and you could probably find it on line and shipped.

But I feel your pain if someone welded the durn thing in there…the only other suggestion is to take it to a machine shop close to you…Good Luck!…Spark
