I could use some (ancient) pottery. And I certainly can't say no to more bronze coins! Not sure about the salt, linen, and lace though... Probably could do a fun experiment or something with the salt :woot:. Funny enough I happen to make a significant coin purchase the day after my anniversary. It had nothing to do with it, with the timing being pure coincidence, but I like to see it as an anniversary gift of sorts to myself :D Yeah, after my first couple of months collecting Ancients things were slow going for me as well, then right after summer is when it picked up, and continued that way. And I hear you on the regrettable coin purchases. The good part about it for me though is that they served as funds for better coin purchases later on. I am only able to remember because the Ft Lauderdale coin club always has the monthly coin show every third Sunday of the month, and I knew it was in April of 2011. For the longest time though I didn't double check the exact date. Now, my first online ancient coin purchase is another story, although I'm 90% sure it was in July of that same year. Coin collecting has been around since ancient times, so pretty much an eternity in that sense :D.
