I'm doing the same. Some cats can't read or take the time to understand what they are being told. Too much catnip I guess. I'm lucky. My cat is really smart. She understands English.
Wow, that did not last too long. Insults unrelated to coins again. Maybe this site should have an automatic algorithm for ANY questions that says, "Look it up on Google dummy, and stop bothering us." Or add a banner to the website that says, "Coin Talk, We cater to the Bully who might or might not have a interest in coins" Meow has not felt the need to insult here. Especially on a threads where you don't have anything to say related to the thread. This place is like high school. In high School the authority figures ignore bullies', And the things they do to others. This place is just the same. Ha, even a Moderator here insulted Meow. Its just so sad that some do more personal attacks than they do talking about coins...……………….
Why can't more people read the question and answer them like this, if they have something to add. A not post insults, and other non topic, non coin comments.
Also, I don’t think the moderators ever insulted you. GDJMSP was incredibly helpful by writing you a whole paragraph explaining why not to crack out your coins. About the holders, whether new or old generation, the grade assigned on them is not deemed invalid because a newer gen. holder comes out. I think the reason for new holders being released is to prevent counterfeiting of the old holders. I agree with GDJMSP that unless you are a professional, don’t dismantle your holders just to resubmit them and obtain a newer holder! And, as ddddd noted, unless you have a special holder, there is no premium for newer holders.
Meow did NOT say GDJMSP insulted Meow. OK, Meow had to read you post more than once, and understands you mistake. When Meow said 'here', here mean on the site, not this particular thread.
Meow was just misunderstood by the wording of a post. Meow did NOT complain about you in this thread. Your answer was not exactly what Meow was referring to. But by no means did Meow take it as a insult. Meow just wanted to be clear about that.
Now it has gotten off topic again. Meow will ask again, if you don't like what Meow posts; Please don't post or reply unless it has to do directly the coin in question. You don't see Meow or any other decent folk go to a topic to tell the poster how much they don't like them. It is NOT a requirement of this forum that one must reply to every single thread, so please don't act like it is. You don't like it, ignore it, and move on.
Are you looking for a way to be less rude (like not saying “Meow” 436 times), so other forum members will gladly answer your questions, or do you take delight in deriding the forum? If you prefer to act like a cat, and cannot take jokes at your laughable tone (which utilizes the word “Meow” too much) I’m sure you will be very much accepted in a cat forum. Also, likening fellow CoinTalk members to “bullies” in a “high school” is not a fantastic way to obtain an answer in this forum.
Explain how my previous answer to your question was “off topic”. It’s this rude and ungrateful attitude that alienates other CoinTalk members who may provide you with answers to your questions.
Talking about things other than coins is off topic. Meow started this thread about generations of holders, any talk not related to that subject, or other than coins in not appropriate. Anyway just forget it, Meow just has to keep questions and neat finds to Meowself. No more replies please, to this thread.
Fantastic! Keep it to yourself, along with your rude/ungrateful attitude! Cointalk members attempt to provide him with an answer (and the occasional joke), but he feels he has the right to insult others.
Two types of ANACS SWH... ANA ownership (gold hologram and label says official ana grade) and Amos press (black hologram and label says ANACS). During Amos' ownership, grading moved from technical to market. The older Amos... two letter + four numbers and the lower cert#s are 'better'...
Jaelus- It's not that people are being unfriendly to Meow, it's that he is refusing to accept any friendliness, and flips it upside down with an accusation.
