Greetings everyone! I hope you've all been doing well! With having gotten a few decent jobs of late, I thought a little bit of a reward was in order so I ventured to my favorite LCS and antique shops. I have more pictures to post than the allotted amount, particularly regarding two specimens (1930 SLQ, and 1903 Filipino one centavo), so look out for other posts regarding those specific coins in the very near future. For this post, I think I'm just going to put up full coin images to show off some of my new additions. I'm very happy that my work is finally starting to pick back up again (and in turn, allow me some frivolous spending) and with my new coins, even though I'm fairly sure at least one has been cleaned/polished. It was cheap enough that it doesn't matter to me, especially because it look beautiful in hand. Anyways, thanks for your time and any thoughts you might share, and I wish you all.a wonderful holiday weekend!
The 1903 is shiny, but I suppose a heavy dose of polish and violently wiping it will do that. The 1931 is much more of a chocolately brown color. For all the technology my phone camera has, sometimes it just doesn't do it justice. I'm pretty sure the 50 centavo is original in all regards and is very purty
