Located at a Garage/Estate sale. Kids selling off father belongings. He used to be the head of a coin club and left this amongst other ancients for them.

Took pics and they said they'd hold for me until tomorrow since I bought a lot of silver.
    336-323 BC?

Technically, this is an issue of Seleukos I struck in the name of his precessor, Alexander. Babylon mint. Struck circa 311-300 BC.

Ah, gotcha. I was trying to find the identification but couldnt be exact, thank you. That'll help.
Would you say it's real or does it look questionable?

What would you say would be a fair price?
The coins were in a book.

1813 20 francs and a smaller one as well

I'd say the coin you showed is the better part of $300 USD.

This coin was also in the book but I'm highly doubtful about it
I see two strike marks but from what I've seen in real ones they are much larger. (To test for silver)

Nothing wrong with that one either.

Really? I'm definitely going to go back and make a purchase. Tey weren't asking for much more than the gold coin value.
From what I've seen of the Owls they fetch quite a bit.
Theres a few more silver ancients I can photograph if you guys are interested in seeing them once I get home

Especially in that condition (not too common for the crest to be that visible...). I want it

Yeah I read that when I was trying to find it. Thanks again for your help everyone.
I'd be willing to sell them for sure. I've sold a few here in the past.
What would be a good price range?

i should be home with them a few hours later an ill try to get my brother camera.
I know there was a 8 Reale and a bunch of silver Persian coins.
