Hi everyone I thought I would share this with you all! I know it’s not an error but.. This is really neat! I have never seen this before and never knew you could possibly purchase it. This is a raw Clad quarter strip not punched. Nice size too!
Not mine sellers pictures. It’s seems legit it’s on the bay. From an American company. Here’s the link. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Clad-Quarter-Strips-Raw-Not-Punched-Rarely-Offered-Scarce-Great-Condition/371184035945?hash=item566c4ae869:g:W2AAAOSw~1FUXRnr&LH_BIN=1
I get it but the unknown factor is how did the seller? Is it stolen from the Mint? If so, they want it back. Will the seller give a written guarantee?
Well I’m not sure about that but it is a well known ny company. @paddyman98 would be able to walk in and talk to them if he wanted to. American Coin & Stamp Brokerage, Inc. (ACSB) 30 Merrick Ave
They're totally legal, in all shapes and sizes, punched and unpunched. I have 8 foot-punched strips for 1943 Steel Cents, and there are much longer rolls out there for newer clad coinage....as well as cut down punched planchet strips, individual pieces, and partial punched planchet strips of all sizes and denominations (except nickels and copper coated zinc cents)
Thank you @Fred Weinberg Always appreciate your input! I feel more at ease now I’ve seen @JCro57 post punched strips but nothing like this. It’s really neat!
